The problems with the sub-prime rate mortgage market have seeped into other facets of the real estate market.

What happened to all the experts on CNBC and other business channels who in 2007 said the mortgage and financial crisis was going to be limited to the sub-prime rate mortgages and those holding them? Their initial observation was that only a very small percentage of loans would be affected.
